This Link is designed with the carry-out unit in mind, and is shorter than the OE so that the installer must readjust the TV cable to ensure synchronized movement with the TV plunger.
This prevents unit failure after rebuild.
If cable is not readjusted to ensure proper line rise, the unit may return with soft shifts, resulting in a burned 3-4 clutch or band.4
