The overall length of the inner shaft reaches all the way to the rear stator bushing to ensure everything is dead-on. The JST-0168AC is milled from steel. Perfectly sized for the task at hand. We’ve knurled a good-sized area into the end to serve as the handle. Grippy even when / if your hands aren’t. The steel center shaft is centered exactly and then welded in place.
